The Palms condos
The Palms, located in the private, lush green hillside neighborhood of Almond Grove, in southern St. Maarten, is a 7-unit townhouse offering spacious 2 and 3-bedroom units. Almond Grove is a single entrance community, manned by a security officer 24/7. Each unit at the palms has both a terrace and a patio, offering stunning views out over the lagoon, sea, marinas, and city lights below. Units are outfitted with steel appliances and granite countertops, and come with two private parking spaces. A common outdoor pool, clubhouse area, and botanical gardens complete the complex.
For beach goers, St. Maarten’s 36 unique beaches await. The Palms is conveniently located to Cole Bay and Cay Bay, which make up the newly established St. Maarten Marine Park, with manicured trails for endless walking, bike riding, jogging, horseback riding, and more, all along the sea. Simpson Bay, just a five-minute drive away, is a local favorite, uninterrupted by resorts and high-rise buildings. This miles long stretch of picturesque white sand and blue water is great for swimming, long walks, sunbathing, and jogging. Check out Karakter beach lounge for some excellent food, drinks, and ambiance at the far end of the beach. For a lively social setting, try Kim Sha beach, home of the annual Heineken Regatta finale party, concert, and awards ceremony. Both La Bamba and Buccaneer’s beach bar and grills offer food, drinks, live music, bonfires, dancing, and movie screenings.
Almond Grove’s central location, rising out of the heart of Cole Bay, is part of why it is so highly sought after. You can find every convenience, both residential and entertainment, in Cole Bay. International restaurants, bars, casinos, pharmacies, banks, grocery stores, gas stations, salons, shopping, marinas, and more are all here. A five-minute drive leads to all the continued amenities of Simpson Bay, Philipsburg (the Dutch side capital), and Marigot (the French side capital). St. Maarten‘s Montessori School is right in Cole Bay, and a five-minute drive to Cay Hill leads to Learning Unlimited Preparatory School.
