Blue Sapphire Club and Resort
Located in the chic and bustling town of Cupecoy, the Blue Sapphire Club and Resort lies between the Caribbean Sea and Simpson Bay Lagoon, close to the French side border. Decorated in a classic Caribbean style, Blue Sapphire offers many different options – from studios, to one and two bedroom units, to penthouse suites and private beach villas that come with their own private pool overlooking the sea. Each unit is spacious and bright, with a private balcony facing either the sea or the lagoon. Many units are also equipped with private Jacuzzis.
Amenities are plenty, with a fitness center, pool, spa and salon (featuring Marie Antoinette, appointed hairdresser to the Queen of Holland), activity desk, restaurant and bar, all within the grounds of the complex. Cupecoy itself also boasts many amenities: award winning gourmet restaurants, cafes, the Atlantis Casino, boutique shops, bars and lounges, Porto Cupecoy Marina and Piazza, Mullet Bay Golf Course, the American University of the Caribbean, and the Caribbean International Academy.
The Blue Sapphire lies on Cupecoy beach, with its golden hued cliffs and turquoise waters, and is just up the road from Mullet Bay, the undeveloped favorite of St. Maarten. Both the quiet beaches of the lowlands and the action, shopping, and nightlife of Maho are each just a 5 minute drive from Cupecoy. However, if you prefer a wake to wheels, then the easy lagoon and sea access also make for a quick ride to anywhere on the western half of the island.
