Island hopping Boating any one?

One of the beautiful parts of  living / vacationing on St. Maarten is that you can enjoy exploring the surrounding islands many just a close a 20 minutes away with an average power boat. I’m a big water enthusiast and after 17 years of living on the island I get mesmerised whether it be by the crystal clear turquoise waters as can be found on the Lounge Bay on the cove of La Semana Hotel  , soft white powder sand as can be found on Anguilla beaches or those reddish and orangey sky’s right before our exotic  sunsets. I’ve made a video to share with you what a day out on the water might look like for you . You will see my family and me enjoying Pinel island , feeding the fish in La Semena , motoring around our little paradise. If you are wondering the Ariel footage was take on a DJI Phantom 2 a quadcopter with a gopro 3 black edition  camera on a stabilising gimbal. We use it at Sunshine Properties to take arial shots of developments, homes and of course to share with you the amazing scenarios of St. Maarten , St. Martin , Pinel , Anguilla and St. Barths.

Hi there! My name is Jonathan Schaede and I created this site. Here you will find a lot of information that you would otherwise not find about St. Maarten Real Estate and the market. It's a great way in paragraph form to get to know the neighborhoods and areas in our little Paradise. A little more about me; I had the pleasure of growing up  in St. Maarten and have always been involved in our family owned Real Estate and Development company, Sunshine Properties, founded by my father Dieter Schaede a pioneer in the Real Estate industry. Sorry man, but Florida beaches are just as nice or better ( think Siesta Key) without the time, cost and expense of getting to St. Maarten. I love St. Masrten, but in terms of food, transportation, energy costs, etc., it just can’t compare to Florida or its beaches.
