Cote d’Azur Sint Maarten
Cote d’Azur, located in the Mullet Bay area of Western St. Maarten, is a residential group of apartments facing Simpson Bay Lagoon, surrounded by a lush tropical landscape. The nearby Mullet Bay Beach is an island favorite, undeveloped and classically Caribbean, with an endless stretch of white powdery sand and clear turquoise water. On one end, satisfy your social side at the beach bar and grill, where on certain days beach volley ball tournaments and live music go all day and bonfires crackle into the night. If you seek solace and calm, the opposite end of Mullet Bay is free of noise, crowds, beach chairs and BBQs; a peaceful and relaxing getaway. Mullet Bay is also home to St. Maarten’s only golf course, an 18-hole course offering both carts and clubs for rent. The area is also convenient to both the American University of the Caribbean Medical School and the Caribbean International Academy.
Back at home, Cote d’Azur offers private balconies, each with spectacular lagoon views. Situated right in between the hot spots Cupecoy and Maho, there is peace and quiet at home and every amenity and entertainment option next door. Maho is known as the island’s own little Vegas, with nightclubs, casino, live dance and cabaret shows, gourmet restaurants, shopping, spa, bars, and the famous Sunset Beach. Home of the Sunset Beach Bar and Grill, and the Boat Bar, this is the closest beach to an airport runway’s landing strip in the world. Tourists come from far and wide to stand in the sand as a giant 747 jet blasts down directly overhead. In Cupecoy, you will find Cupecoy Beach, with its golden cliffs and caves, ever changing formations and offering gorgeous sunsets. Cupecoy is also home to the new Porto Cupecoy Marina and Piazza, Atlantis Casino, award-winning restaurants, bars and lounges, orchid greenhouse, and numerous resorts.
